The 2018 United Kingdom Silver Proof Piedfort Coin Set, Coin Set from United Kingdom - detailed information

This is a sub-set of the standard United Kingdom Proof Set of the year, including some of the commemorative coins issued throughout the year, but not the regular circulating denominations.

The 2018 set includes the Saint George £5 (crown) commemorative celebrating the fifth birthday of Prince George, plus three commemorative £2 coins: Frankenstein, RAF Centenary (the Badge) and World War 1 Armistice; these coins were only issued in the year's sets and not released into general circulation. Also included is the Representation of the People Act 50 pence.

All coins in this set are struck in Sterling Silver to Proof FDC grade with a frosted finish, and are piedforts (double the thickness and weight of regular silver proofs).
