Coin | Silver Kilo (2023) Perth Mint Cast Bar |
---|
|
Australia has two mints, the Royal Australian Mint (which also makes the country's circulating coinage) and the Perth Mint, which are both very active in the bullion coinage space; coins issued by them are legal tender. There are also private issuers of bullion, which is not legal tender and is targeted at investors and not at coin collectors.
This design of the Perth Mint's 1kg silver bar was introduced in 2023. Its identification stamps have been re-styled by significantly increasing the size of The Perth Mint's Swan logo and inscription, as compared to the earlier silver kilo bar. |
