In Switzerland, apart from the government-owned Swissmint, there are also some private mints producing bullion which is not legal tender and is targeted at investors and not at coin collectors, such as this one-ounce gold piece.

This one-ounce gold bar is part of a bullion range by PAMP Suisse with an American theme.

The bars were first released in October 2024, in cooperation with mining company Newmont.

The obverse of the bar "showcases an Art Deco style design interpretation of the Lady of Liberty, which is that of freedom, democracy and enlightenment. These sentiments are symbolised by the Lady of Liberty’s sword defending the freedom of the people and a flowing Greco-Roman styled toga representing democratic ideals as she carries a lantern lighting the way to a bright future."

Below, the inscription LADY of LIBERTY.

Surrounding the rim is a geometric pattern in Ancient style.

The reverse features the PAMP SUISSE logo, below which the precious metal content: 1 OUNCE FINE GOLD 999.9.
