The 2013 Protea Prestige Set consists of a 1oz and 1/10oz 24ct gold coins, as well as one sterling-silver proof coin.
There is also an oblong silver medal (29 grams of sterling silver, 35mm x 52mm, on one side showing a landscape with the inscription TYHALARGA, on the other side ROLIHLAHLA MADIBA MANDELA NELSON DALIBHUNGA). Mandela was known by several names - Rolihlahla, the name given to him at birth; Nelson, the English name given to him when he first went to school; Dalibhunga, the name given to him when he went through his Xhosa tribal initiation ceremony; Madiba, the clan name used as a term of respect. To a certain degree the different names represent different periods in his life, and they certainly all have different meanings.
