2016 Protea Launch Set - Life of a Legend, Coin Set from South Africa - detailed information

The 2016 Protea Launch Set consists of a 1oz and 1/10oz 24ct gold coins, as well as the sterling-silver proof coin; the gold coins have a special privy mark on the obverse.

The "Life of a Legend - Nelson Mandela" Protea series was introduced in 2013, representing a different chapter of Nelson Mandela’s life on each year’s coin issue. The 2016 edition of the series focuses on Mr Mandela’s law career and the concept of justice.

Included in this set is also a sterling-silver model of the "scales of justice".
