Star Trek: Captain Kirk and Mr Spock, and U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, Coin Set from Tuvalu - detailed information

The Perth Mint issued this set to mark the 50th anniversary of the Star Trek series. It contains two 1oz silver proof coins: one featuring Captain Kirk and Mr Spock (issued individually, and in this set), and one featuring the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 which is only available through this set.

The two-coin set is housed in a replica of a Star Trek transporter machine which lights up when the lid is opened, inside a custom designed display box within a Star Trek themed shipper. Each set is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
