One year type. This type was struck at the Budapest Mint for the kingdom of Bulgaria in 1930 only, along with a similar 50 and 100 leva. The previous twenty leva coin was gold and the subsequent issue (in 1943) was copper-nickel.

Composition: 50% silver, 40% copper, 5% nickel, 5% zinc.

Effigy of King Boris III facing left (by Lajos Berán), artist's name L. Berán in small letters under the truncation of the neck. Around, БОРИСЪ III ЦАРЬ НА БЪЛГАРИТѢ (Boris III, King of the Bulgarians). Below, mint mark BP. of the Budapest Mint.
