Boreal Owl

(Aegolius funereus) in color. Also included in the design is the inscription "NATURA MUSSOL PIRINENC." The name of the Boreal Owl is due to its densely feathered feet. Another striking feature is its large head, bright field of vision and yellow eyes that it can open wide. The small owl, whose body length is between 24 and 26 cm, prefers to live in mountainous regions with mixed forests - more rarely it is also found in beech forests and sparse larch forests. The
