Fort Denison in an outstandingly deigned tribute The ‘Fort Denison’ SILVER-PLATED commemorative is a brilliant tribute to an iconic landmark! Set in the middle of Sydney Harbour, the island is named after Sir William Thomas Denison, who was the Governor of NSW at the time. It has had a varied past – being used as a fishing spot, defence structure, navigational guide, tide gauge station, weather station, and historic museum. No detail has been spared in the recreation of this national landmark on a 40mm Prooflike flan. The obverse of this commemorative features the special 225 Years of Sydney Crest.
