The obverse of 2021 1/10 oz Barbados Flamingo Coins depicts two Flamingos on foot. One is standing upright, while the other bends towards the ground. In the background, we can see a few palm trees. Along the rim are the words Barbados Flamingo, as well as the year and denomination.
On the reverse of the 2021 1/10 oz Platinum Flamingo Coin is the Barbados coat of arms. This design is from 1966 and includes a shield propped up by a dolphin and a pelican. Also included is the country’s motto Pride and Industry. Inscribed along the border are the words Barbados, 1/10 oz, Pt .999.

The most notable is their pink feathers, which they actually are not born with. Baby Flamingos are naturally grey, but their diet of carotene-rich foods turns their feathers a pink hue over time.
