The 2016 Year of the Monkey coin issued by the Republic of Belarus is dedicated to the ninth of all the animals in the Chinese zodiac. The coin is struck from 1 oz silver 925 in proof-like quality. Celebrate 2016 with this shiny silver piece featuring the lucky symbol of the year! The worldwide mintage is 1 000 pieces. The obverse of the coin features the state emblem of Belarus and a stylized clockwork with selective gilding and a shiny cubic zirconia embedded in the center. The hands of the clock point to the stylized inscriptions of the following years. The legends along the rim of the coin include its face value, metal fineness, issuing year and country. The eye-catching reverse of this Belarus Lunar coin features the stylized image of two funny circus monkeys and the inscription “Year of the Sheep” in Belarusian.
