Each 2017 1 Kilo Antique Samoa Greek Chthonic Gods Silver Coin in this release features an antique finish, which delivers the visual beauty and appearance of an ancient coin despite its newly struck nature.
The Chthonic Greek Gods are those who rule the underworld where the souls of the dead are sent to live out eternity. There are a total of 18 gods recognized as Greek Chthonic deities, with the most popular being Hades himself, the brother of Zeus and ruler of the underworld. The spirits and gods of the underworld are featured on the reverse of these coins.
On the reverse of the 2017 1 Kilo Antique Samoa Greek Chthonic Gods Silver Coin you’ll find the images of Hades and Persephone, rulers of the Underworld and the images of various other spirits and venerated war heroes who found themselves in the deep, dark abyss of the Greek underworld.

The right-profile portrait of the Queen is a 1998 creation of Ian Rank-Broadley, and serves as the fourth-generation depiction of the Queen of England.
