The motive in color shows a depiction of King Kong⢠on the Empire State Building holding Ann Darrow in his giant hand. The design is based on the cover of Dynamite Entertainment's âKing Kong: The Great Warâ from 2023. The reverse shows the coat of arms of Samoa, the inscriptions â2 DOLLARSâ, âSAMOA 2024â, âSILVER.999 1 ozâ and the copyright. âKing Kongâ¢â is a fictional giant ape created by Merian C. Cooper and Ernest B. Schoedsack. The film spectacle of the same name conquered the big screen in 1932 - King Kong was not based on any literature at the time, but was created solely for the movie.
