The answer is being revealed in a hotly anticipated three-part series with designs created by some of the world’s most dynamic designers: The Royal Mint of Great Britain’s Jody Clark, The Royal Canadian Mint’s Susan Taylor, and the South African Mint’s Natanya Van Niekerk. Here you can secure the first release in the series—a two-ounce coin struck in highly pure 99.9% fine silver designed by Susan Taylor featuring a dynamic image of Lady Liberty bearing a torch with an American flag in the background. Reminiscent of Adolph Wineman’s Classic 1916–1947 Half Dollar “Walking Liberty” design that graces the obverse of the Silver Eagle, you’ll notice a rising sun in the background, its rays illuminating the dawn of a bright new day. The coin’s obverse, which shows a Flaying Eagle, was designed by John Mercanti. Extraordinary Ultra High Relief And Amazing Enhanced Reverse Proof Finish Not only has this coin been struck in extraordinary Ultra High Relief (UHR) with detail so intricate that the designs seem like they’re leaping from their surfaces, but it also features a jaw-dropping Enhanced Reverse Proof finish comprised of a frosty field and a variety of polished and frosted finishes on the design. It’s a glittering masterpiece and a stirring tribute to America, Lady Liberty, and the millions of people who packed up lock, stock, and barrel to seek a better life in the United States. This coin is also $5 legal tender in Samoa, a Polynesian island country in the South Pacific Ocean with close ties to the United States and is limited to a mintage of just 1,999 coins for worldwide release. It will also come beautifully displayed in its original mint packaging that consists of a black display case with a torch emblem and accompanied by a mint-issued Certificate of Authenticity.
