Pobjoy Mint is pleased to announce the release of the 5th and final coin in our new series that features the 'Big Cats' of the world. This stunning new series is issued on behalf of Sierra Leone, with this series being produced in magnificent High Relief to truly capture the power of these stunning animals. The final coin in the series features The Cougar. The Cougar is the second-heaviest cat in the New World after the jaguar. This cat is considered to be both nocturnal, as it is secretive and largely solitary by nature, although daytime sightings do occur. The cougar is more closely related to smaller felines, including the domestic cat. The final coin in this series depicts the Head of a Cougar with the word "COUGAR" incused and the words "BIG CATS" raised. The denomination of $20 is displayed on the obverse of the coin. This coin will be presented in a unique acrylic presentation box with a certificate of authenticity included on the sleeve.
