The Year of the Snake on the Chinese Zodiac last occurred in 2013, the year in which PAMP Suisse struck these bars. The snake is one of 12 animals on the 12-year cycle of the Zodiac and occupies the sixth spot in the rotation. Those born under the sign of the snake are said to be intelligent, wise, and courageous, but materialistic and lively at the same time.
On the reverse face of the 100 Gram PAMP Suisse Snake Silver Bar is the image of a snake wrapped around a bamboo pole. At the bottom of the pole, the Chinese symbol for snake is engraved on the bar.
The obverse face of the bar features more intricate designs and engravings. The image on this side represents the backside of the image on the reverse. The same snake is visible, wrapped around the bamboo shoot. Along the shoot, engravings of the PAMP Suisse corporate logo, the coin’s weight and purity, its individual serial number, and the assayer’s mark are engraved from top to bottom.
