The horse occupies the seventh position in the Zodiac and is part of the 12-year cycle of the Chinese Lunar Calendar. Those born under the sign of the horse are considered enthusiastic and energetic, while also possessing the characteristics of independence and integrity. 2014 was the Year of the Horse, and PAMP Suisse continued its popular Lunar Year bars with the impressive image of a horse.
On the reverse face of the 100 Gram PAMP Suisse Horse Silver Bar is the image of singular horse standing in front of a tree. The clean lines of the image make it easy for the eye to focus on the horse, with the lone engraving on this face that of the Chinese symbol for horse.
The obverse face of the bar is slightly more complex. Like other Lunar Calendar designs, the obverse offers an opposite view of the horse. On this side, you’ll see the backside of the tree, with the front and rear of the horse protruding from behind the trunk. The PAMP Suisse logo is engraved at the top of the tree, with the weight, metal content, and purity of the bar included below. An individual serial number and assayer’s mark are included along the bottom.
