The Year of the Rooster falls in 2017, and like all of the other animals in the Zodiac, the Rooster comes around every 12 years. Those born under the sign of the rooster are believed to be observant, hardworking, resourceful, and courageous. Going back every 12 years you can find your own birth year in the series, with the Year of the Rooster going back in the last five decades to 2005, 1993, 1981, and 1969.
For the Year of the Rooster design, PAMP Suisse continued with its use of reflective images on each side. This doesn’t mean that the surface of the bars are reflective, but rather that the two designs reflect the same image from different viewpoints.
On the obverse of the Lunar Rooster Silver Bar you can see a rooster with its chest puffed out, tail feathers at full stretch, and its head turned back to its right. You are viewing this rooster from behind as it stands at the edge of a cliff and there is an engraving above its head featuring the Chinese symbol for rooster.
The reverse of the 100 Gram PAMP Suisse Lunar Rooster Silver Bar captures a slightly different look at the same scene. Now you see the rooster from off the edge of the cliff, looking back at it toward the same direction it has its head cocked as it turns back. Engravings include the refinery logo, weight, purity, metal content, serial number, and assayer’s mark for the bar.
These 100 Gram Lunar Rooster Silver Bars ship to you housed within protective plastic packaging. Included in the packaging is the assay card, which bears the signature of the PAMP Suisse Assayer verifying the bar’s weight and purity, as well as its individual serial number.
