Many European cultures depicted dragons as an evil force, something to be feared and fought against.
Visually, Asian and European cultures had different takes on the dragon as well. While European depictions of the dragon often featured a beast with wings, massive size, and four legs, Asian cultures depicted dragons as serpent-like beasts with four or six legs and no wings.
