Information about effigy: King Charles III - Seated on Throne, by Tower Mint

This effigy of King Charles III was created by the Tower Mint for a commemorative issue (under the authority of the Falkland Islands) which revisits the historic Ryal denomination from the 17th century.

The obverse, in late Medieval style, features a frontal view of King Charles III seated on the throne, in full regalia, wearing a mantle and crown, holding the Orb in his left hand and the Sceptre in his right hand.
