Information about Alfred Maletsky

Alfred (Al) Maletsky was born in 1943 in Easton, Pennsylvania, United States. Alfred worked in the advertising art department Philadelphia Evening Bulletin from 1969 - 1975.

He was a sculptor at The Franklin Mint from 1976 to 1992, then a sculptor and engraver at the United States Mint in Philadelphia since 1993.

In 2001 he won the Coin of the Year Award for his design of the 1999 New Jersey State Quarter.
