Information about Asamat Baltaev

Asamat Baltaev is a medal maker and coin engraver working for the Czech Mint. He was born in the Republic of Chuvashia, which is part of the Russian Federation. He moved to the Czech Republic in 2007 to study at the Secondary school of applied arts and the college of craft in Turnov, and later graduated from the College of craft in Jablonec nad Nisou - where the Czech Mint is situated.

The Mint makes many bullion and collector coins under the issuing authority of Niue, so many of his designs are on coins of that country.
