Information about František Chochola

František Chochola (15 April 1943 - )

František Chochola (also spelled Frantisek Chocola in some sources) is a Czech - German sculptor, illustrator and medalist. Chochola is best known for his illustrations of children's books and the Euro coins he designed. From 1968 he designed medals and illustrated books as a freelance artist in Kolín and Prague. After the the Prague Spring, Chochola emigrated to Hamburg in the early 1970s.
