Information about Karl Schwenzer

Karl Schwenzer (26 February 1843 - 29 November 1904)

Karl Schwenzer was a medalist at the royal court of W├╝rttemberg from 1875 until his death in 1904, during which time he created virtually all the coins and medals that W├╝rttemberg issued.

In 1877 he also created the new obverses for Swiss 5, 10 and 20 centimes / rappen coins featuring the effigy of Libertas, which are still current today.
