Information about Philip Nathan

Philip Nathan is a British sculptor and designer of medals and coins. He was an engraver and designer with the Royal Mint (1965 - 1968), and with the Franknlin Mint in the USA as senior sculptor and designer (1968 - 1973), after which he returned to England.

Among many other things, he designed the official Royal Wedding Crown (50 piece) in 1981, and the definitive design for the Britannia range of bullion coins.
