Banjar, Sultanate of / Sultan Ri'ayatullah bin Sultan Mustainbillah

Sultan Ri'ayatullah bin Sultan Mustainbillah was the sultan of Banjar (also known as Banjarmasin) from 1660 until his abdication in 1663.

His birth name was Raden Halit. He was a temporary king / regent for Raden Bagus, the Crown Prince who was not yet an adult. As Acting Sultan he had the official title of Sultan Rakyatullah (People of God). Other titles he had were: Pangeran Dipati Tapasena, Pangeran Mangkubumi, Panembahan Sepuh, Tahalidullah, Dipati Halit. In 1663 he was forced to give up the throne to Prince Dipati Anom II.
