This set contains all four different sizes of The Australian Platinum Koala bullion coins issued in 1988: 1oz, 1/2oz, 1/4oz and 1/10oz. The coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated grade and are encapsulated in a plastic lens, packaged in a cardboard sleeve.

The mintage of the set is unknown, and is probably included in the reported mintages of the individual coin sizes.

This is the first such set, as it was the year when the platinum bullion series was introduced.
