This set contains five coins of The Australian Nugget series by the Perth Mint issued in 1991. The coins have a common design, and are in the 1oz, 1/2oz, 1/4oz, 1/10oz, and 1/20oz sizes.

The design differs from the respective bullion coins of the series issued the same year. It features a common wallaroo, and not a grey kangaroo; the series initially featured nuggets but in 1989 started depicting kangaroos, and was eventually renamed the Australian Kangaroo.

The set comes in a timber box housed in a leather case, with a numbered rectangular ingot medallion carrying the Perth Mint logo.
