The Australian Nugget 1991 Proof Issue (3 Coins), Coin Set from Australia - detailed information

This set contains three of the five coins of The Australian Nugget series by the Perth Mint issued in 1991. The coins have a common design, and are in the 1/4oz, 1/10oz, and 1/20oz sizes.

The design differs from the respective bullion coins of the series issued the same year. It features a common wallaroo, and not a grey kangaroo; the series initially featured nuggets but in 1989 started depicting kangaroos, and was eventually renamed the Australian Kangaroo. This is the second year when the series featured a kangaroo.

The set comes in a timber box, with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
