This set was issued to mark the 30th anniversary of the popular gold Angel series issued by the Isle of Man. It contains two quarter-ounce Angels - a 1984-dated coin of the first release of the range, and a 2014-dated coin with the same reverse design and a 30 privy mark (this coin differs from the regular release of the year, which has an updated design where the Archangel faces right).
The coins are in Proof FDC grade. The set comes in a velvet-lined clam-shell box with the Pobjoy Mint logo, and with a Certificate of Authenticity. |
