The set, whose total weight is two troy ounces of pure gold, contains two investment coins of the Czech Mint - the Czech Lion and the Slovak Eagle with the year 2021.
Czech lion: The reverse side of the coin is dominated by a Czech heraldic beast in an untraditionally realistic presentation with the St. Wenceslas crown on its head. The obverse side then presents an eagle on a shield, which is a synthesis of St. Wenceslas, Moravian and Silesian predators. The author of the relief is the medal maker Asamat Baltaev, DiS.
Eagle: The reverse side of the coin is dominated by the golden eagle, which is the lord of the Tatras, and in the background there is the magnificent mountain peak Kriváň. The obverse side is then covered with ornaments of the Čičmansk pattern, which is a unique addition to Slovak folk architecture. The relief is the work of the medal maker MgA. Martin Dašek. |
