Czech Lion and Slovak Eagle 2022, Silver, Coin Set from Niue - detailed information

The set, whose total weight is two troy ounces of pure silver, contains two bullion coins of the Czech Mint - the Czech Lion and the Eagle with the year 2022.

Czech Lion: The reverse side of the coin is dominated by the Czech heraldic beast in an unusual realistic rendering with the St. Wenceslas Crown on its head. The obverse side presents the eagle, which is a synthesis of the St. Wenceslas, Moravian and Silesian birds of prey. The author of the relief is medal maker Asamat Baltaev, DiS.

Eagle: The reverse side of the coin is dominated by the golden eagle, which is the master of the Tatra Mountains, with the magnificent mountain peak Kriváň rising behind it. The obverse side is then decorated with ornaments of the Čičmanský pattern, which is a unique addition to Slovak folk architecture. The relief is the work of medal maker MgA. Martin Dašek.

As the coins of the Czech Mint are issued with the licence of a foreign issuer, which is the island of Niue, their obverse sides still bear its necessary attributes - the name and portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the nominal value of 2 DOLLARS (NZD) and the year of issue 2022.
