Set NameCzech Lion and Slovak Eagle 2025, Silver
Niue / Czech Lion and Slovak Eagle 2025, Silver - photo

The set, whose total weight is two troy ounces of pure silver, contains two bullion coins of the Czech Mint - the Czech Lion and the Slovak Eagle, issued in 2025.

The Czech Lion: The reverse side of the coin is dominated by the Czech heraldic beast in an unusual realistic rendering, with the St. Wenceslas (Wenceslaus I, Duke of Bohemia between 921 and 935) crown on its head.

Eagle: The reverse side of the coin is dominated by a golden eagle, which is the lord of the Tatras, with the magnificent mountain peak Kriváň in the background.

As the coins of the Czech Mint are issued with the licence of a foreign issuer, which is the island of Niue, their obverse sides carry the portrait of King Charles III, who is (among other things) Head of State of Niue, a small Pacific nation which is a dependency of New Zealand.
