![]() This gold coin set is a collection of nine minted depictions of works by Carl Peter Fabergé and his assistants. Thanks to the exuberance, intricacy and splendour of decoration, Faberge eggs have gained a huge popularity as jewellery masterpieces. On the obverse of each gold coin of the set, there is the image of the open Spring Flowers Egg with a miniature basket of wood anemones inside. The portrait of Queen Elizabeth II is surrounded by the florid ornament with the legends indicating the name of the issuing country, the face value of these Niue coins and the year of mintage. Eight of the coins in the set are dated 2012, and the ninth coin is dated 2013. | ||||
