The African Wildlife bullion coin series by the Bavarian Central Mint is popular among coin collectors and investors and features a new reverse design every year, in a variety of formats and metals.

This set contain the "first struck" of six smaller gold denominations - 1oz, 1/2oz, 1/4oz, 1/10oz, 1/25oz and 1/50oz. Being first struck means the coins were made while the dies were in perfect condition, so the coins are of the best possible quality of Brilliant Uncirculated grade (in German: Stempelglanz).
