This coin set has six of the seven one-year type gold Britannia coins issued in 2018 (except the five-ounce piece), presented in a Royal Mint case with a booklet that charts Britannia’s journey through history to the present day. The coins feature an original design by acclaimed artist and popular coin designer David Lawrence
The Royal Mint says:

For 2018, designer David Lawrence, whose designs include contributions to our five-year series commemorating the centenary of the First World War, steers Britannia in a different direction, returning to a more classical feel inspired by Ancient Rome." |
