The 2012 UK Britannia Four-Coin Silver Proof Set, Coin Set from United Kingdom - detailed information

Four denominations of silver Britannia coins were issued in 2012, in what was called the "Britannia silver" composition (95.8% silver). All of them are included in this set, in Proof FDC grade.

The Britannia range was issued with the "definitive" standing Britannia type of reverse design this year, to mark its 25th anniversary. This was the last year when the composition was "Britannia silver" (95.8%); the next year, it changed to 99.9%.
