The Royal Mint issued an extensive coin range dedicated to the upcoming XXX Olympiad, also known as the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Part of that was a nine-coin gold series divided into three themes - "Citius", "Altius" and "Fortius" after the Olympic motto, which translates from Latin as "faster, higher, stronger". This set has two of the three coins from the Citius / Faster theme - two quarter-ounce coins denominated as £25; it does not include the one-ounce coin. | ||||||||||
