2008 United Kingdom Coinage Royal Shield of Arms Platinum Proof Collection, Coin Set from United Kingdom - detailed information

In 2008, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue, Royal Shield of Arms Platinum Proof 7 Coin Collection all struck in solid fine 0.999 Platinum of the new designs for the coinage of the United Kingdom, giving collectors the opportunity to own a piece of numismatic history.

The set contains all the new circulating coin designs by Matthew Dent which were introduced in 2008 (£1 to 1p), in Platinum version. There is also a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
