The 2002 United Kingdom Gold Proof Four-Coin Sovereign Collection, Coin Set from United Kingdom - detailed information

The set features all four "Sovereign" denominations issued in 2002: from the "quintuple" (five sovereigns) piece through the double sovereign, the full sovereign and the smallest size - a half sovereign. The coins are identical in appearance (the value and denomination is not written on the coin) and only differ in size and weight, which are proportional to their value.

The 2002 sovereigns differ from the usual Saint George design - they feature heraldic reverse instead, which was released this year only to mark the Golden Jubilee (50 years on the throne) of Queen Elizabeth II.

The set comes in a presentation box, with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
