The 2012 United Kingdom Gold Proof Sovereign Four-Coin Collection, Coin Set from United Kingdom - detailed information

The set features four of the "Sovereign" denominations issued in 2012: from a double sovereign through a full sovereign and a half sovereign to the smallest size - a quarter sovereign; it excludes the "quintuple" (five sovereigns) piece. The coins are identical in appearance (the value and denomination is not written on the coin) and only differ in size and weight, which are proportional to their value.

The 2012 sovereigns differ from the usual Saint George design - they feature a new interpretation by Paul Day, which was released this year only to mark the Diamond Jubilee (60 years on the throne) of Queen Elizabeth II.

The set comes in a presentation box, with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
