This is the gold version of the first in the collection of six-coin sets issued over several years, a series marking 100 years of World War One - from Outbreak to Armistice. It contains six crown-sized £5 coins commemorating 100 years since the outbreak of the First World War.

These coins were available in the sets only, and not issued individually.

All coins are the same ("Crown") size, in Proof FDC grade and in 22-carat gold.
