2003 American Eagle Platinum Proof Four-Coin Set, Coin Set from United States - detailed information

This set contains the proof versions of the four different denominations of the American Platinum Eagle coin issued in 2003. The coins were struck by the West Point Mint and have a W mint mark, unlike the bullion coins which were struck by the Philadelphia Mint and have no mint mark.

The proof version also features a different one-year design on the reverse, depicting a bald eagle perched on a Rocky Mountain pine branch, against a backdrop of the United States flag.
