AUSTRALIAN LEGAL TENDER The coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965. DINGO DESIGN The coin depicts a unique interpretation of the Australian dingo, an intelligent and free-roaming canine often featured in traditional Aboriginal rock carvings and cave paintings. CREATED BY INDIGENOUS ARTIST DARRYL BELLOTTI Designs for the three-year Dreaming Series have been created by Darryl Bellotti. HM QUEEN ELIZABETH II OBVERSE The coin’s obverse bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
