This beautiful Celebrate Australia release is one of five 2012 $1 coins portraying stunning Australian landscapes and marine environments inscribed on the World Heritage List. Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park Reverse Struck from aluminium bronze, the coin’s coloured reverse represents Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park’s spectacular skyline. The design also features the native Perentie Lizard. ‘P’ Mintmark The coin’s reverse also incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. Australian Legal Tender Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
