The Perth Mint and Australia Post are pleased to present the Queens’ Coronation Stamp and Coin Cover. This release celebrates two significant anniversaries, the 60th Anniversary of the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II and the 175th Anniversary of the Coronation of Queen Victoria. The two stamps feature iconic images of Queen Elizabeth's Coronation in 1953. Two Aluminium Bronze $1 Coins These $1 coins are struck by The Perth Mint from high quality aluminium bronze. Two Unique Reverse Designs The Queen Elizabeth II coin depicts an image of the crown worn for her Coronation ceremony in 1953. As well as The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, the design features the inscription QUEEN ELIZABETH II 60TH ANNIVERSARY OF CORONATION and the dates 1953 – 2013. The Queen Victoria coin depicts an image of Queen Victoria's infamous miniature diamond crown. As well as The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, the design features the inscription QUEEN VICTORIA 175TH ANNIVERSARY OF CORONATION and the dates 1838 – 2013. Australian Legal Tender Issued as Australian legal tender, the obverse of both coins depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the 2013 year-date. Two Official Australia Post Stamps Affixed to the envelope are two official Australia Post stamps valued at 60c and $2.60. The stamps are postmarked for the first day of issue and the envelope includes Australia Post’s Seal of Authenticity and official number. Beautifully Designed Presentation Envelope These uncirculated aluminium bronze coins are housed in a beautifully designed card that fits inside a similarly illustrated envelope with a circular window revealing the coin’s reverse and obverse designs.
