The Invisibility $1 aluminium bronze coin is the second design in The Perth Mint's Young Collectors six-coin Super Powers Series. The Invisibility coin explores the various ways of becoming invisible, blending into our surroundings, and remaining undetected by the naked eye. As camouflage technology advances, invisibility is becoming more of a reality. Aluminium Bronze $1 Coin This $1 coin is struck by The Perth Mint from high quality aluminium bronze. Exciting New Super Power Design The coin’s reverse depicts a coloured superhero balancing on the side of a multi-storey city building using her invisibility super power to blend into the bricks. As well as the inscription INVISIBILITY, the design also includes The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark. Australian Legal Tender Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the monetary denomination, and the 2014 year-date are featured on the coin’s obverse.
