AUSTRALIAN LEGAL TENDER The coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965. TASMANIAN DEVIL DESIGN WITH COLOUR The coin depicts a unique interpretation of the Tasmanian devil. Found only in the wilderness of Tasmania and known for its distinctive loud screech when stressed, it is the largest surviving carnivorous marsupial in the world.
