The commemorative coin was minted from an impressive 5 ounces of 99.9% gold in proof quality and is limited to only 2,000 pieces worldwide. The motive depicts the statues of the Earth Store Bodhisattva. He is one of the four main Bodhisattvas in Buddhism and is also known as the Earth Store King Bodhisattva. It is told that he made his vow not to achieve Buddhahood until the hells are emptied. The reverse depicts the national emblem as well as the year of issue. Mount Jiuhua (Jiuhuashan) is one of the four sacred Buddhist mountains of China and is located in the Chinese province of Anhui. The Shrine of the Living Buddha is located in a Buddhist temple from the 8th century and is to be found at the top of the Divine Light (神光岭) of Mount Jiuhua. The 5 oz gold coin
