Czech 5-ducat 2010 Baroque proof Works by Matyáš Braun served as motifs for this medal. Matthias Bernard Braun (1684-1738), Austrian sculptor and woodcarver and representative of the Baroque style greatly contributed to the development of the Baroque art in the Czech lands. Copies of his most famous statues decorate the Charles Bridge in Prague, his statues are deposited in the Kuks Castle and can also be found in many churches.The obverse side of the medal features a detail of St. Judas Thadeus statue that is now part of the stone collection at the Kuks Castle. It is a woodcarving masterpiece depicting St. Judas as an old man looking up to the sky. The obverse side bears symbols of the Czech state emblem on the stylized ground plan of a Baroque chapel.Limited edition of 200 pieces.
